The 35th Milo Marathon was held here in Cebu last October 2, 2011. I was joining the 5k run and observed that the streets of Cebu were filled with greens of runners due to the color of the singlets worn. It was a fun Sunday since after the run there were cheer dancing presentations from different schools here in Cebu. Although I was not able watch it, I can say that the event is the grandest and biggest.
The aim of Milo Marathon is to give shoes to those underprivileged children in the Philippines. The more who will join the marathon is the more barefoot children will be provided with a pair of shoes. See this video:
