Cebu Fire Run

Cebu Fire Run was held in Ayala Terraces last Sunday March 6, 2011.  I was one of the participants in the 7.5 kilometer run.  The gun fired at past 5 am to signal that all were set for the run.  Running categories includes 3 k, 7.5 k, and the Kiddie Dash of 100 m / 200 m.  I was kind of hesitant during the course of the run since I was not able to have a single practice for even just a walk or a jog.  I also encountered a panic in which I was thinking of not getting to move on and I feel like quitting.  To think that the route of the race was just kind of short when viewed from the map on a piece of paper as compared to the actual race course which was  kind of not that easy.  But in the end of the race,  I was relieved to found out that I was able to made it despite of it all.  And the good thing about it was that I did not encountered any cramps or whatever it was that I expected to feel after a couple of days after the run.  It was indeed a fun run..

 I was able to have this free picture from Cebu Foto Booth.  They only allowed a group picture without my notice during the long line for the free picture taking but the one at my back asked me if I have an accompany and I said no.  And there it was our picture with her son.  He he .. not bad at all...
